Painting exhibition Antonio de Castro in the House of Culture

On Friday 22 May at half past eight p.m. inaugurated the painting exhibition by Antonio de Castro in the House of Culture Osuna between a rich public. The event, which at first would have the presence of the mayor and the delegate of culture, was developed without the presence of both for being in full, was finally presented by José Luis Cecilia. After his speech, the author commented that his exhibition is to tell what he has seen, felt and learned when you have been outside, "recalled some passages of his childhood, youth and teens in our town, he ended by thanking all attendees for their presence and exhibition devoted to his family, friends and Rafael Sandino, his professor of aesthetics. After his speech, the painter was kind enough to pose for this medium by one of his works.

The author, born in our town, has paintings displayed in different parts of the country, besides having exposed throughout Spain. He spent the early stages of his life in Osuna. He graduated in History of Art and his first assignment as a teacher was the IES Rodríguez Marín. Today is early retirement.

The exhibition can be seen until next May 29, 1937 of his works, which are reflections of some twentieth-century art movements, from his training in art history. This is a very personal and attractive style, which is reflected in the large crowds who attended the inauguration.
