Brussels. (AGENCIALAVOZ.ORG) The Belgian Parliament voted Thursday in favor of banning the Islamic headscarf in public spaces. Belgian deputies have agreed and voted unanimously against the wearing of headscarves in public space integral, not even on the street.
The veto become law in June or July this year because not expect the Senate to block the initiative.
This country will be the first to pass such a law. "We are the first to pass a law semejanete, but we expect to continue to France, Switzerland, Italy, Holland and other countries think," said the liberal diùtado Denis Ducarme.
The text does not explicitly prohibit the burqa or niqab. Veta people "are presented in public spaces with face concealed or covered partly or wholly, so that they can not identify."
