USA - (AGENCIALAVOZ.ORG ) A charismatic evangelist is documenting what he describes as the "largest numerical revival" which will air on Friday 12 March.
minister and musician Jaeson Ma is the host of 1040, this documentary explores the spread of Christianity throughout Asia, where the Church has had no precedent in recent decades.
Only in China the number of Christians has grown from about a million in the seventies to 70 million today, some sources estimate that more than 100 million Chinese believers. In Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, about ten percent of the 245 million population is Christian according to the Department of Statistics of U.S.
"It's an amazing movement because what you see really is the book of Acts, it is happening as it is written in the Bible," said Ma, 29, a US-born evangelist and the founder of Campus Church Networks, a student movement of planting churches whose base is in California. "There are people being raised are being carried out signs and wonders, miracles and healings. Churches are being planted every day. Millions are being reached with the gospel.'s Shaking transforming society and culture."
The title of the documentary refers the area known as the 10/40 Window is the region between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude, covering from North Africa to East Asia. Many of these nations are predominantly Muslim and Buddhist least evangelized groups living in these regions.
For nearly three months last spring, Ma traveled to China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Indonesia recorded interviews with church leaders and celebrities, artists, and Asian entrepreneurs both Christians and non Christians.
"I think in the West understand that things are moving quickly towards the East, and that is not only politically, economically and militarily, but also spiritually, "said Ma
" Truly I think the Church of the East is rising to be a leader in the Body of Christ at the moment, to lead the completion of the Great Commission, "he said." I think it is important that those in the West are educated to see with their own eyes what is happening and going to join what God is doing and that Aliance with our brothers and sisters in Eastern culture who are truly have sacrificed their lives for the gospel. "
1040 includes interviews with Christian leaders such as Mike Bickle, founder of the International House of Prayer, Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission; President of Campus Crusade for Christ, Steve Douglas and author, advocate and founder of Generals International, Cindy Jacobs.
"What is happening in Asia right now is the best move of God in human history and much of the Western Church is not aware of the dynamic that is the Church in Asia now," said Bickle. "These are the roots from which the Bible speaks clearly to be very powerful in its influence and I think they are mostly young."
"You move in power as the apostles did in the book of Acts and also influence both the culture and even the government of Asia that will cause all of Asia to resist incentives and threats of the Antichrist" added. "This is massive in its implications."
The artist MC Hammer, a minister and mentor Ma, also appears in the documentary. "The world is watching this historic moment in Asia," he said. "Along with its economic rise also is a spiritual move that is spreading and is transforming the entire culture." Produced by Adventures.tv
